Detail:

This course is available for people working with children and families in Stoke-on-Trent. For those working with children and families outside of Stoke-on-Trent, please contact your local Safeguarding Children Partnership.

Participants must have undertaken Level 1 Child Protection training before attending this course.

This course will update your Level 2 certificate to continue to be the Designated/Deputy Safeguarding Lead in your organisation for another 2 years.

 

TRAINING COST:
The cost to attend this Level 3 course is:

  • £30 per person
    (With the exception of the three statutory safeguarding partners, voluntary, faith, charitable and community interest company organisations).

 

Course Aims:

  • Opportunity to reflect on best practice and what is working well to improve outcomes for children.
  • Use the children’s experiences and cases to learn from what did not work well at both a strategic and practice level.
  • Identify the key practice development themes from the reviews.
  • Support practitioners to consider the learning and develop their practice.
  • Hear from practitioners about what supports and embeds best practice.
