Core Slides – Safeguarding Children Level 1

For organisations working with children and families living in Stoke-on-Trent

Cost: £100 per licence (per organisation/per education setting) (with the exception of the three statutory safeguarding partners, voluntary, faith, charitable and community interest company organisations).

Stoke-on-Trent Safeguarding Children Partnership offer Safeguarding Level 1 Core Slides to enable agencies to deliver this essential training in-house, i.e., to a single agency.  The Core slides can be obtained on an annual basis by the agency, usually the Designated Safeguarding Lead, and provides the opportunity to deliver a locally designed product that contains the most up to date information, including thresholds and referral pathways.

The licence to access the slides is valid between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2024 and during this period Stoke-on-Trent Safeguarding Children Partnership will update the presentation in line with any changes to statutory regulations and legislative guidance and will automatically provide agencies with the most up to date version. This licence must be renewed every September to continue to receive free access to any updates.

Please note – those using the Core Slides are responsible for making any changes to the training in line with local and organisational working practices and to ensure they have the most up to date version of the slides.

To maintain a positive learning environment, this training is appropriate for groups of no larger than 40 people in order to be able to reflect on practice and work through activities in an effective way.  For larger groups, please deliver this training in multiple sessions.
